Tania Tilley, LPN - Program Coordinator
A Licensed Practical Nurse with a strong background in Gerontology, Tania brings both knowledge and passion to her role. As Program Coordinator, she is deeply committed to person-centered care, making it a priority to ensure each participant is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
With an approachable leadership style, Tania focuses on building strong, trusting relationships with participants, families, and team members alike. She believes that a supported, connected team is essential to delivering the highest quality of care, while creating a positive, rewarding workplace culture.
Outside of work, Tania is a busy mom of two who is hooked on Starbucks, loves a good book, sunny days, beach vacations, and spending quality time with her family.
Jennifer May - Executive Chef
Born and raised in Goulds, Newfoundland and Labrador, Jennifer May is a Red Seal Chef with over 17 years of culinary experience and a deep passion for creating food that brings comfort and connection. Now living in St. John’s with her husband, a fellow chef, and their two children, Jennifer combines her professional expertise with a genuine care for community and well-being.
Throughout her career, she has worked in some of Canada’s top restaurants, including Mallard Cottage and Charcut, and has developed a strong passion for butchery, charcuterie, and quality local ingredients. Jennifer has led kitchens for over a decade -serving as Operational Manager for seven Ches’s Fish and Chips locations, General Manager and Business Developer for Chinched, and playing a key role in the reopening of The Majestic during its remodel.
Beyond her leadership in the kitchen, Jennifer has contributed to Newfoundland’s food industry as a board member of the Restaurant Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, a participant in culinary competitions, and a host for From This Rock dinners.
In addition to her culinary accomplishments, Jennifer is a certified end-of-life doula and has pursued psychology studies at Queen’s University - experiences that have deepened her understanding of care, compassion, and dignity, especially in working with seniors.
At Fort Amherst Healthcare, Jennifer brings her culinary expertise and compassionate approach to creating wholesome, comforting meals that make residents feel truly at home.
Her happiest moments are spent with her family, exploring the woods, relaxing by the ocean, or enjoying the calm of Bowring Park.
