The Neighbourhood is a drop-in Adult Day Program that provides affordable social and recreational programming and personal care support in a safe and friendly environment. You will love our array of amenities specifically designed for seniors, including nostalgic and comforting spaces, an engaging and inclusive recreation program, and home-cooked cuisine.
Where community meets care.
The Neighbourhood bridges the gap between home care and personal care, allowing members to stay in their homes and providing respite for caregivers. We offer services traditionally found in personal care homes for those who do not require an overnight stay, such as physical fitness, social programming, field trips, medication administration, and more! We can accommodate many levels of care and offer programs that are specifically designed for those with mobility and cognitive challenges.

Care plans developed in collaboration with the member and family supports that provide a break for family caregivers.

A quick fill tub and shower room is available for members who may require some assistance with personal care and prefer a non-family caregiver to assist. Continence and toileting assistance is available through continence schedules and stand by assistance that help maintain independence and dignity.

Our variety of meaningful Therapeutic Recreation programs encompass a holistic approach that focuses on the 5 domains on health – cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Program adaptations and modifications of activities for older adults with physical or cognitive impairments assist with providing programs that create both positive and meaningful experiences.

Offered to those who have daytime medications and require some assistance to ensure they are taken on time and correctly, including insulin injections and glucose monitoring. Feel safe knowing LPNs are on staff to provide management, supervision, and medication administration.

Home-cooked snacks and lunches by our Executive Chef that consist of modified textures and meet various special diet considerations.
